How do you choose a real online school.?

I'm looking for a good Digital Photography class. Anyone with any suggestions please help. I'm going into info overload there is just too much to choose from and I don't want to waste my money. I'm willing to pay for it if it's legit.

Use the BBB as your guide. The Better Business Bureaus will tell you what is a real business & whats not. and even if real ones are untrustworthy

UPDATE: Hi I was just checking back on you. I am surprized to find I was the only one who answered you. I'm sorry that noone else did.

Have you checked any schools out with the BBB?

It is easy really. Just type into the search bar what your looking for. Then copy & paste the names or the address that is in the address bar in the space provided in the BBB search. They will bring up infomation on that business and tell you if it is a real business, if it's a good one or if they have complaints against them.

I don't know how new you are to this or if you are really good at a computer so just incase I will do one for you. I would hate to assume you know all this just to find out later you didn't and I should have helped. I would feel bad, so….

In the search bar I put “online Digital Photography class”.

one of the many links that showed was this one.

I know there is a lot to choose from but you really should take the time to check them out. Only you can decide what is the best school for you.

then just copy & paste it on the BBB sight were it asks for a name of the business or the address (link).

this is what I pulled up for this business:

Based on BBB files, this company has a satisfactory record

BBB Definition:

satisfactory record – A business identified in our report as satisfactory has, based on Bureau files, been in business for at least one year, and has voluntarily provided the Bureau with all information requested about the business and its product or service. If any complaints have been received about the business, their number has not been considered by the BBB to be extreme, given the nature of the company's business and the volume of business transacted. Complaints are also generally typical of what might be expected for this type of business. A business stated to be satisfactory has not been the subject of any recent law enforcement actions concerning its dealings with the public. If the business has been contacted by the BBB about its advertising or selling claims, it has modified or substantiated its practices to the Bureau's satisfaction. In addition, the BBB has a clear understanding of the company's business, and the business is not in an industry which has raised significant marketplace concerns.

with the Bureau. A satisfactory record

means a company has been in business for at least 12 months, and properly addressed matters referred by the Bureau. The company does not have an unusual volume of complaints, or any government actions involving its marketplace conduct. The Bureau understands and has no concerns about the company's products, services and type of business.

The Bureau processed a total of 0 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period.

here is the link to it if you want to read more about that perticular business. http://data.oklahomacity.bbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=5000450

but you can search and check out as many as you want and compair them to one another.

I hope this helps you.
